1. Purchase
The purchase of products through the Amaltheia e-commerce is permitted both to customers who qualify as consumers under Legislative Decree No. 206 of September 6, 2005 ("Consumer Code"), and to customers who do not hold this qualification, whether they are natural or legal persons, companies, and/or entities of any kind. Natural persons are allowed to purchase only on the condition that they are eighteen years of age. To proceed with the purchase of a product and to make any changes and/or corrections to the order, the customer must follow the instructions specified on the site. At the end of the operation, by making the Payment, the order will be forwarded to Amaltheia and will be stored in Amaltheia's database for the period required by current legislation. Upon receipt of the order, Amaltheia will send the customer an e-mail containing the order number and information relating to the ordered products, the detailed price of each product, the specified shipping address, the payment methods, and the estimated delivery times. This e-mail does not constitute acceptance of the customer's purchase order by Amaltheia, but merely a confirmation of receipt of the order. Once the purchase order is received, Amaltheia will verify the availability of the ordered products as well as the correctness of the information provided by the customer.
The sales contract will be considered concluded only when Amaltheia sends the customer an e-mail confirming the shipment of the ordered product(s).
Amaltheia reserves the right to decline the purchase order in situations such as the inaccuracy of the information provided by the customer, the exhaustion of available products, insufficient financial reliability, the non-correspondence of the order to normal usage needs, the incorrect indication of product prices on the site, or in case of force majeure.
2. Product availability
The products available on the Amaltheia website are in limited quantities. Therefore, it is possible that, also due to simultaneous purchase requests by multiple users, a product may no longer be available after the order is forwarded.
In this event, Amaltheia will promptly inform the customer of the unavailability of the requested product and will proceed to refund the amount of the purchase made. Alternatively:
If restocking is possible, Amaltheia may offer an extension of the delivery terms, specifying the new waiting times.
If restocking is not possible, Amaltheia may propose an alternative product agreed upon with customer service, of equivalent or greater value, subject to payment of the difference and prior acceptance by the customer.
Amaltheia may also offer a discount voucher for the value of the purchase, to be used for future purchases, excluding shipping costs if applicable.
In case of termination of the contract with a refund request, the refund will be made within a maximum of 20 days from the approval of the request.
3. Sales price
All prices displayed on Amaltheia include Value Added Tax (VAT). Amaltheia reserves the right to change product prices at any time and without prior notice. However, the price charged to the customer will be the one indicated on the site at the time the order is placed, and any subsequent variations will not be considered after the order is transmitted.
Any shipping costs are clearly indicated and separated in the order form before the user proceeds with its transmission.
4. Payment methods
Purchases on Amaltheia can be made using the following payment methods:
– Credit card;
– PayPal.
Payment by credit card
Accepted credit cards include those of the circuits approved by the banking institution.
Amaltheia will charge the total amount of the transaction at the time the purchase order is transmitted. The total transaction amount will then be charged to the credit card at the time of purchase, when the customer makes the payment.
In case of termination of the sales contract or any refunds, the refund amount will be unlocked or credited to the credit card used by the customer.
Payment via PayPal
To make a payment via a PayPal account, the customer will be automatically redirected to the PayPal page, where they must enter their login details in the appropriate space and complete the payment following the instructions provided by the service.
The payment data for the products will be managed directly by PayPal and will not be shared with Amaltheia. Amaltheia will charge the total transaction amount at the time the Purchase Order is transmitted.
The total transaction amount will then be withdrawn from the customer's PayPal account upon completion of the purchase, when the customer makes the payment.
In case of termination of the sales contract or other refunds, the refund amount will be credited to the customer's PayPal account.
5. Delivery
Delivery of products is carried out only within the Italian territory. The products will be delivered to the address specified by the customer at the time of purchase, only after the regular payment has been made.
In compliance with the provisions of Article 61 of the Consumer Code, the products will be delivered no later than 30 days from the conclusion of the sales contract.
The shipping of products will take place in the countries of the European Union. Products will be delivered to the address indicated by the customer at the time of purchase, subject to regular receipt of payment.
In accordance with Article 61 of the Consumer Code, the products will be delivered within a maximum period of 30 days from the conclusion of the sales contract.
6. Shipping costs
The shipping cost on the Amaltheia website is € 6.90 for all deliveries within the national territory. However, for purchases exceeding the threshold of € 80.00, shipping is free.
7. Right of withdrawal
According to the provisions of the Consumer Code, the customer who has made a purchase on the e-commerce site is guaranteed the right of withdrawal. This right allows the customer to return the purchased goods within a period of 14 days from their receipt, without being required to provide any explanation to the seller.
However, the right of withdrawal does not apply in the cases listed in Article 59 of the Consumer Code, particularly regarding purchases made through our site. This exclusion concerns the supply of sealed products that cannot be returned for hygienic or health protection reasons, if they have been opened after delivery. A package of cream, oil, or any other cosmetic is considered opened if the protective film wrapping the product has been broken.
When the product is eligible for return:

The product must be in its original, unopened packaging, with the protective film intact. It must include all external wrappers, accessories, and instructions.

Products without a protective film will not be accepted for return.

For hygiene reasons, the product must not have been used and must be closed.

8. Return for non-compliant product
In the event that the received product does not correspond to the one purchased (e.g., incorrect), the customer is required to notify Amaltheia of the non-compliance within 14 days of receipt, by e-mail to info@amaltheiacosmetics.com.
In the communication, it will be necessary to specify the order number, describe the defect and/or non-compliance found, and attach one or more explanatory images of the product along with the reason for the return.
After conducting the necessary checks, Amaltheia will confirm whether or not the product can be returned. In the event of positive confirmation, the customer will be required to return the product at their own expense, after which Amaltheia will proceed with the agreed refund.
9. Refunds
In the case of the return of a non-compliant product, all payments made, including shipping costs, if applicable, will be refunded. The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the initial transaction, or through the issuance of a discount voucher of equivalent value, which can be spent on Amaltheia for a new purchase.
The refund will be processed in the shortest possible time and, in any case, within 14 days of receiving the customer's notice of withdrawal by Amaltheia. This deadline will be met if the customer returns the product within 14 days of the notice of withdrawal. The direct costs of returning the product will be borne by the customer.
10. Liability
Amaltheia declines any responsibility for any damages of any kind resulting from improper use and/or non-compliance with the instructions provided by the product's manufacturer/distributor. Furthermore, it assumes no liability for damages caused by unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure.
11. Applicable law and competent court
These terms of sale and the related contracts concluded through the website www.amaltheiacosmetics.com are governed by Italian law.
If the customer is considered a consumer, i.e., an individual who made the purchase on www.amaltheiacosmetics.com for purposes unrelated to their entrepreneurial, commercial, craft, or professional activity, any dispute regarding the interpretation, validity, and/or execution of the general terms of sale and the related contracts concluded through the Site will fall under the exclusive territorial jurisdiction of the court of the customer's place of residence or domicile.
In the event that the customer is not a consumer or resides outside the Italian territory, the Court of Rome (RM) will have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. Alternative dispute resolution
The customer qualified as a consumer has the possibility to use the ODR (Online Dispute Resolution) platform for the resolution of online disputes, in accordance with EU Regulation 524/2013 and Legislative Decree 130/2015, which implements EU Directive 2013/11.
