Cookie Policy
General Information
This site may use cookies. Cookies are identifiers that a website can send to the user’s browser to keep track of the computer and make subsequent visits to the site easier. You can set your computer to refuse cookies on this site or to receive a notification each time a cookie is sent. However, some parts of the website may not function properly if cookies are not accepted.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are cookies that are essential for the proper functioning of the sites and are used, for example, to manage login and access to the reserved functions of the site.
Analytics and performance cookies
These cookies are used to anonymously collect and analyse traffic and usage of the site. These cookies, while not identifying the user, make it possible, for example, to detect whether the same user returns to connect at different times. They also make it possible to monitor the system and improve its performance and usability. Disabling these cookies can be done without any loss of functionality.
Google Analytics
The sites also include certain components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). These too are third-party cookies that are collected and managed anonymously in order to monitor and improve the performance of the host site (performance cookies). Google Analytics uses “cookies” to collect and anonymously analyse information on how the website is used (including the user’s IP address). This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it to compile reports for site operators regarding activities on the websites themselves. This site does not use (and does not allow third parties to use) Google’s analytics tool to monitor or collect personally identifiable information. Google does not associate the IP address with any other data held by Google, nor does it seek to link an IP address with the identity of a user. Google may also disclose this information to third parties where required by law or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. For further information, please refer to the link below: hiips://www.google.it/policies/privacy/partners/
The user can selectively disable the action of Google Analytics by installing the opt-out component provided by Google on their browser. To disable the action of Google Analytics, please refer to the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Duration of cookies
Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or the logout command is executed. Other cookies “survive” the closing of the browser and are available during subsequent visits by the user. The site, in relation to which the information is stored exclusively for technical purposes, does not use persistent cookies.
Managing cookies
The user can decide whether or not to accept cookies by using their browser settings. Please note: by totally or partially disabling the use of technical cookies, functionalities of the site reserved for registered users may be affected. On the other hand, public content can still be used even if cookies are completely disabled. Disabling “third-party” cookies does not affect navigability in any way. The settings can be defined specifically for different websites and web applications. In addition, the main browsers allow different settings to be defined for “first-party” cookies and “third-party” cookies.
By way of example, in Firefox, through the menu Tools->Options->Privacy, you can access a control panel where you can define whether or not to accept different types of cookies and proceed to remove them.

Third-party cookies
When visiting this website, cookies may be received from both the site visited (“first-party” cookies) and from sites managed by other organisations (“third-party” cookies). An example is the presence of “social plugins” for Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn. These are parts of the page visited that are generated directly by the aforementioned sites and integrated into the page of the host site. The most common use of social plugins is to share content on social networks. The presence of these plugins involves the transmission of cookies to and from all sites managed by third parties. The management of information collected by “third parties” is governed by the relevant privacy notices to which you are kindly referred. To ensure greater transparency and convenience, the web addresses of the different notices and information on how to manage cookies are provided below.

Use of IP addresses
An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned by your Internet Provider every time you are browsing online. When you request a web page from the site https://www.amaltheiacosmetics.com/ our server records your IP address and transmits it to our administrative system in order to provide aggregate information to our advertisers and to analyse how users access our site. We do not link your IP address to any address or personal information that could identify you individually, which means that your visit to our site is recorded, but that you do so in a completely anonymous manner.
