General Information

This notice is provided in compliance with Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Art. 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 (Personal Data Protection Code) to users who access the website https://www.amaltheiacosmetics.com/ and concerns all personal data processed in the manner indicated below.

Data Controller

Amaltheia srl, with registered office in Corso Trieste no. 65/B - 00198 Rome (RM) (Italy) (the “Company” or the “Controller”), guarantees compliance with the legislation on the protection of personal data by providing the following information regarding the processing of the data communicated or otherwise collected while browsing this site.

1. Data Collected

The personal data processed are collected either because they are provided directly by the data subject or collected automatically.

The data provided directly by the data subject are all personal data that are provided to the Data Controller in any manner directly by the data subject. In particular, the following personal data are collected and processed: – list of data collected: first name, last name, company name, address, VAT number/tax code, email address, telephone number, curriculum vitae and project proposals.

The data collected automatically are browsing data. Although these data are not collected for the purpose of being associated with the user’s identity, they could indirectly, through processing and association with data collected by the Controller, make it possible to identify the user. In particular: – list of data collected: IP address, browser.

The legal basis that legitimises the processing is the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or the performance of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the data subject. In the cases expressly indicated, the legal basis is the freely given consent of the data subject.

2. Nature of the Provision of Data

The provision of the data listed in the “Data Collected” section for the purposes specified is mandatory in order to allow the user to access the service. For this reason, consent is mandatory and any refusal to allow processing, or the failure to provide, or the provision of inaccurate or incomplete data may result in the service not being properly provided.

The provision of data for the purposes of sending newsletters for promotional, informational or research purposes is optional and refusal to give the relevant consent to processing will result in the impossibility of being informed about commercial initiatives and/or promotional campaigns, receiving offers or other promotional material and/or being sent personalised offers. Amaltheia srl does not provide any user information to third parties without the users’ consent, except where required by law.

In any case, dissemination and transfer of data outside the EU area are excluded.

3. Methods of Processing and Data Retention Period

The data collected will be processed using electronic or otherwise automated, IT and telematic tools, or by means of manual processing with logic strictly related to the purposes for which the personal data have been collected and, in any event, in such a way as to ensure their security at all times. The data are retained for the period strictly necessary for managing the purposes for which the data are collected, in compliance with applicable regulations and legal obligations. In any event, Amaltheia srl applies rules that prevent data from being stored indefinitely and therefore limits the retention period in accordance with the principle of data minimisation.

4. Persons Authorised to Process the Data, Data Processors and Communication of Data

The processing of the data collected is carried out by personnel specifically identified and authorised to process the data, in accordance with specific instructions given in compliance with applicable legislation.

The data collected, where necessary or instrumental to the performance of the purposes indicated, may be processed by third parties appointed as external Data Processors or, as the case may be, disclosed to them as independent controllers, and specifically:

a1) individuals, companies, associations or professional firms that provide assistance and consultancy services to our Company for the purposes referred to in point 1, letters b) and f);

a2) companies, entities and associations that provide services connected and instrumental to the performance of the purposes indicated above (market analysis and research services, management of payments by credit card, maintenance of IT systems).

The data collected may also be transferred abroad, including outside the European Union, in the forms and ways provided for by applicable legislation, in any event ensuring an adequate level of protection.

In any event, personal data will never be disseminated.

5. Rights of the Data Subject

At any time you may access your data, object to processing, or request the deletion, rectification or updating of all personal information collected by Amaltheia srl, and exercise the right to restriction of processing and the right to data portability, by sending an email to info@amaltheiacosmetics.com.
